A babywearing or carrying consultant is someone who has undertaken training to help others to use slings and baby carriers. They have usually completed a course of 3-4 days in duration and completed some kind of follow up project or coursework. What is the job of a Babywearing Consultant? Babywearing Consultants support parents who are learning to use a baby carrier or sling safely, finding out what carriers might work best for them and learning new ways to use their carrier or sling. Many consultants run sling libraries where you can hire slings or carriers to try. Some consultants offer private services such as one to one help in your own home.
